The Wulong Karst Three Natural Bridges are known as the largest cluster of natural stone bridges in Asia, and they truly live up to the reputation. The three giant bridges—Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge—span across a dramatic canyon, each rising more than 200 meters high. Together, they form the spectacular landscape known as “Three Bridges and Two Sinkholes.”

Standing beneath these massive stone arches and looking up at the sky framed by the bridges, you can’t help but feel overwhelmed by nature’s scale. It’s no surprise that famous productions such as the movie Transformers: Age of Extinction, Curse of the Golden Flower, and the TV series Eternal Love chose this incredible location for filming.

1. Tianfu Official Post Station

Hidden beneath Tianlong Bridge, Tianfu Official Post Station is an ancient post station that blends perfectly with the surrounding cliffs through its gray-tiled roofs and traditional architecture.

Arrive early in the morning when mist drifts through the canyon, and you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped onto the set of a classic martial arts movie. Wearing traditional Hanfu and posing beneath the eaves creates photos that look straight out of a movie poster. On the left side, an ancient pathway leads deeper into the canyon, making it a great route for visitors who enjoy a little adventure.

2. Qinglong Bridge

With a vertical height difference of 281 meters, Qinglong Bridge is the tallest natural bridge in the world.

Around 2:00 PM on sunny days, sunlight shines through the mist and often creates a stunning rainbow beneath the bridge. Point your camera upward to capture the bridge arch framing the sky above—a composition locals often describe as the “Azure Dragon Roaring into the Heavens.”

Don’t miss the famous “Carp Leaping Over the Dragon Gate” rock formation beneath the bridge. Find the right angle and you’ll see why it has become one of the most popular photo spots in the park.

3. Glass Skywalk

Suspended nearly 300 meters above the ground, this transparent viewing platform is well worth the admission fee.

From here, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the Three Bridges and Two Sinkholes. After rainfall, clouds and mist drift through the valleys below while layered mountains stretch to the horizon. Standing above the canyon feels like floating in a world above the clouds.

If you’re afraid of heights, try closing your eyes for a moment and simply listen to the wind rushing through the gorge.

Travel Tips

✅ The entire route takes approximately 3–4 hours to complete.

✅ Wear non-slip walking shoes, as some stone steps can be slippery.

✅ Travel light. There are limited refreshment options inside the scenic area, so bringing water and a few snacks is recommended.

✅ The canyon is noticeably cooler than downtown Chongqing, even during summer. A light jacket is useful.

✅ The sightseeing route is one-way only. Simply follow the signs and you’ll have no trouble finding your way.
